Pippa Cebis (MBA(Adv), BA(Hons), PGradDipEd, PGradDipPM) is the Executive Manager of Client Services at Mosaic in which capacity she is strongly focused on the growth and strategic direction of Mosaic’s services as they work to add value to the lives of Western Australians who are living with disability.
Prior to her current role Pippa held the position of Manager of the Brightwater Research Centre. The Brightwater Research Centre is dedicated to identifying key research opportunities and undertaking research and evaluation projects that directly contribute to improving the lives of the vulnerable people. This includes both the aged and those living with acquired neurological disability to whom Brightwater provides care and support as well as those who live in the wider West Australian community.
Before joining the not-for-profit sector almost a decade ago, Pippa had over 15 years’ experience in executive management roles in for-profit aged care and psychiatric residential organisations. Her effort included a focus on influencing government policy and community support for voiceless individuals and those without advocates.
Pippa’s experience in both the private and not-for-profit sectors has allowed her a unique insight into how research and evaluation can be used to improve and evolve service delivery to the vulnerable in our society while working within a system of constrained resources. It is her passionate belief that research and evaluation is a tool to be used to guide and improve service delivery and that most organisations already possess the data necessary to begin that journey. Pippa is also a Founding Member of the Social Impact Network of Australia (WA Chapter) and is particularly interested in capturing the true impact of an organisation’s programs through measuring their social impact alongside the more traditional metrics.
